So THANK you for your suggestions about what to bring to a craft fair! I’m still working on this—and I welcome more suggestions and votes—but here is one result so far: notecards in a variety of illustrations.
One of our local printers is just lovely to work with for small stuff like this. I spent a nice bit of evening bagging these and mixing up the envelope colors. Quite relaxing. Still need to put price stickers on them. I’m thinking $3 each? What do you think?
The craft fair is in a local high school, and I’ll be sharing a table with Possum Press. I waffled on arranging for a whole table, and between first time anxiety and ability to prep enough stuff, I didn’t book one. But Carol and I like will happily look after each other’s stuff and support each other—so if you are near Vermont, come and see us! We will have prints, cards, charms, books and we’ll see what all else. We’ll take cash and cards (thanks, Square). Maybe checks; not sure yet!
I choose pictures that were loved by different people in my family because we sometimes have really different taste. Please do tell me what else is or will be a good idea, or your favorites! I totally welcome your suggestions for this or future shows or for me to post on Etsy (which I will do eventually, probably; right now that’s just digital downloads because it’s really nice to not have to worry about shipping).
