I wound up not knowing how to draw this pose—even though I can sit in it—so I streamed gardening videos until I saw someone kind of close to what I wanted, and paused it. Still not quite satisfied, but better!

I like this way of life drawing. I first did it with a Stargate SG-1 episode oh…age ago. And by ages I mean when my oldest kid was a baby or maybe sometime before that…. (Don’t do the math! Or do!)

Anyway, then I gave it ink lines, half on intention and half out of curiosity and a bit just because I had the pen with me.
