A bit more catlike than I meant, originally—but would you believe I started with a mushroom? I did, but it didn’t work that way, so I made it fuzzy, in a hat instead of a mushroom cap, and with two mushrooms in its bouquet, instead.

I did have Lillian Hoban’s art work style in mind, yes. 

I think this needs to be printed on watercolor paper and painted sometime.
