I’m having trouble with mermaids and #merMay — the biological structures feel weirdly wrong in my head! And I feel as if I can’t draw any that are really from me some how  — as if everything coming out of my fingers is someone else’s idea with less skill or heart. Ugh!

So! I am giving up on merMay and just drawing other things this month that make me happier to make. Some will probably even start with M. Not this one though.

A beastie. With flowers. Probably needs a story. Probably has one! Not sure if I know it though.
